What is Ammonium Chloride Powder?
Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP), also known as MAP 12-61-0, is a high-efficiency water-soluble phosphate fertilizer containing nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P₂O₅).
With a typical nutrient ratio of 12% Nitrogen (N) and 61% Phosphorus Pentoxide (P₂O₅), MAP provides a highly concentrated source of phosphorus for agricultural production. It is widely used in basal fertilization, fertigation systems, compound fertilizer production, and specialty fertilizer formulations.
MAP chemical formula is NH₄H₂PO₄, which dissolves rapidly in water and releases ammonium nitrogen and phosphate ions, providing essential nutrients for early root development, flowering, and crop establishment.
Due to its excellent water solubility, low salt index, and acidic reaction characteristics, MAP is especially suitable for alkaline soils and modern precision agriculture systems.
